The Artful Escape explores this concept of coming into one’s own self through creative pursuits. But almost all of them focus on being comfortable with trusting oneself and their needs. There are a million and one ways that this sense of growing up can be explored. Whether we are struggling with the responsibility of getting on without a parent or the budding relationships we are beginning to take part in. We all fixate on a few things during those transformative years of our lives. The Artful Escape Coming of Age Sci-Fi AdventureĬoming-of-age stories are a dime a dozen now but that’s because “coming of age” is not the same for everyone. It might have done much better exploring other ways to deliver its fantastical adventure and space musical. However, it might not be set in the correct medium that best suits its characters, adventure, and aesthetic. It was a rock opera coming-of-age story that I nearly missed out on.
I had every intention of The Artful Escape being a quick once-and-done achievement run but the game surprised me in more ways than one. Overall The Artful escape is a good game.There are times that I will download a game with the full intention of only grabbing all the achievements and turning it off again. but if this doesn’t sound like a story that intrigues you, the gameplay isn’t enough on its own to justify a playthrough. Gameplay wise this was my favorite aspect, it was fun putting on a little rock show for these aliens before sliding through some caves. But I still had this eautiful world to pull me through. This game is again beautiful, I was so impressed with the visuls nd I loved sliding down hills and the platforming here, the story however I was kinda bored of after a while, wasn’t one that really clicked with me so I didn’t care how it turned out all that much. youll go through these beautiful locations just rifting on your guitar, eventually getting to a boss battle that will have you playing a simon says like mini game.
